One of the best things about a business like Bed and Bowl is having the privelege of meeting many
wonderful dogs & people. Oftentimes, dogs and the dogfolk who come to the farm and stay become
members of our extended family.
This also means that over the years we've had to say a lot of goodbyes to members of our pack who have moseyed
on up the trail. It's never easy to be left behind, and words fail to capture the depth of each loss. It seems
like comfort only comes with the passage of time, and in the love and support of those around us who can understand this kind
of loss, no less important than any other. We feel the memory and spirit of happy dogs all around us here at the
farm, and that helps make this place feel like home. So, at the risk of sounding corny, ( too late!) we thought
creating a space to say goodbye and share some memories might be a good thing to do here. We hope that you will feel
free to send your thoughts, favorite poems, or photos and we'll do our best to include them and to
remember our friends together.
